Role and Responsibilities

You will be a part of an interior remodeling team, remodeling existing homes. Your tasks will include:

· Removing existing materials and site preparation

· Installation of new tile, LVT, laminate, hardwood, or sheet vinyl.

· Qualified individuals may also participate in other required tasks for kitchen and bath remodels. Candidates will be considered who have proficiency in a portion of the listed tasks

· Cleanliness is important to the experience and image of The Board Store. All jobsites will be cleaned and free of hazards upon completion of the job.

· Tile installation may also include showers and/or backsplashes Lead and OSHA safety standards must be followed when they are applicable. This includes use of safety gear and equipment.

· Physical requirements involve standing for long periods of time; regularly bending, twisting, and kneeling; lifting and carrying between 30 – 50 lbs.; and being able to lift over your head up to 50 lbs. You must be able to climb ladders, scaffolding and planks.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· High School Diploma/GED

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a construction/Installer position

· Strong customer service skills

· High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions thoroughly

· Understanding of OSHA standards

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

• La Crosse, WI 54603: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Construction: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
