Overview

Participates in or leads a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to client specifications. Responsible for the overall success of less complex or small projects. Leads end to end project management activities such as reporting, planning, issue / risk tracking, work breakdown structures, scheduling effort estimation and tracking, other project documentation preparation and turnover to production. Ensures work is performed within the program and project management policies, standards, procedures and frameworks with established tools and techniques routinely used for project management. Develops detailed project plans and schedules including goals, risks and resource allocation. Monitors project results for significant deviations. Contributes and Influences project relations to ensure that service expectations are developed and met. Maintains regular contact with clients and coordinates and reports on project progress and accomplishments. Works with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute the project. Effectively communicates with project stakeholders. No direct reports. May guide other Project Management support staff. Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives. Modified based upon local regulations/requirements. Bachelor's degree, preferably in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is beneficial. 4 - 6 years of related program and/or project management experience required. Experience with operations, technology and/or financial services industry is a plus. Good written and verbal communication skills required.
