We are excited to add a highly motivated full-time Marketing Director to our team. In this important role, you will drive our company's strategic initiatives through creative awareness and demand generation efforts. You will work closely with the leadership, sales, channel, and vertical sales teams to develop messaging that clearly articulates BluIP’s competitive advantage in our vertical markets. You will then translate that message into content and campaigns that retain our existing customers and attract new ones.

This is a full-time job that requires at least 3 to 5 years' experience in the direct marketing field. 

This position is in our Glendale, CA office.

Compensation for this role includes an annual salary of $90K to 125k, depending on your experience, and the comprehensive benefits package that is outlined on our careers page.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Work with all BluIP departments to develop successful marketing strategies and campaigns that retain existing customers, attract new customers, and grow our partner ecosystem.
• Manage & coordinate BluIP’s participation in industry events.
• Develop and manage the creation of marketing content and sales tools including case studies, data sheets, presentations, webinars, product videos, blogs, infographics, eBooks and battlecards.
• Manage and monitor BluIP’s digital marketing, including earned, paid, search, and social media.
• Manage the sales and marketing tech stack (HubSpot, Google Analytics, etc.) to continuously improve marketing performance and maintain a healthy sales funnel.
• Produce BluIP’s annual partner & sales conference.
• Propose, justify, and manage the department’s operating budget.
• Manage a marketing team of two and grow the team as appropriate to support the goals of the business.

To be successful, you will need: 

• The ability to write, speak, and present convincingly and professionally.
• Demonstrated experience developing marketing strategies and putting them into action.
• Superb organizational skills and maniacal attention to detail.
• A laser focus on the numbers – you are obsessed with establishing KPIs and measuring performance.
• Experience developing and growing a marketing team.
• Experience building and managing an annual marketing budget.
• Proficiency in the tools of the trade, particularly Microsoft Office, HubSpot, and Google Analytics.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field. Extra points for an advanced degree.
• At least five years of experience in technology marketing, preferably in one or more of our targeted vertical markets.
