What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive (Remote - B2B SaaS, Mid-market/Enterprise) position at Blueprint?
Company Description
Mental healthcare is broken. Despite the talk about improving access to care, even if 100% of people who needed access had it, only 15% would get better and stay better. We're on a mission to change this by arming mental health clinicians with great software to help them deliver the right treatments to the right patient at the right time.
We've been working on this mission since 2019 and have thousands of clinicians (and hundreds of thousands of their patients) on the journey with us. Today, we're growing fast and excited for new teammates to join us who are the best at what they do. We're passionate about building a company as diverse as the hundreds millions of people who need better mental healthcare worldwide.
Job Description
The Role
We're looking for an experienced, consultative Account Executive who wants to make a big impact at a fast-growing startup. In this role, you’ll be on the front lines, identifying & forging partnerships with behavioral health organizations to help them measure and improve client outcomes.
This is a full cycle sales role, where you will be selling to large Behavioral Health Practices (50-2000 employees), utilizing a mix of mid-market and Enterprise sales skills. In 2022 our sales organization went from 1-3 and will likely triple this year. In this role, you will work directly with our Head of Sales, Erica Schaffel, to help shape and scale a fast-growing sales organization.
What you'll do
- Own the full sales cycle (prospecting to close). You will receive inbound leads, and leads from an SDR, but a successful AE will effectively augment their pipeline with larger opportunities through highly personalized targeted outreach.
- Manage and control a complex sales process, where multiple decision-makers from various departments are evaluating a solution they don’t have a defined buying process for.
- Conduct personalized demonstrations of Blueprint to different types of stakeholders.
- Negotiate pricing, demonstrate ROI, manage proposals and contracts.
- Contribute to the continued improvement of our sales strategy. You will do this by judiciously keeping records up-to-date in our CRM and regularly participating in collaborative efforts where we, as a team, identify patterns in what's working/not working and experiment with new strategies.
Qualifications
Who you are
You are a top performing salesperson who loves a challenge, knows deals are won in discovery, and genuinely cares about making a difference in the mental health industry. You are curious, coachable, and intelligent, with an honest/direct communication style and a strong desire to win.
You don’t need a script. We are creating a new category. And while we’re on the brink of truly changing this country’s mental healthcare system, many prospects aren’t looking for us yet. We have a playbook but the right person doesn’t want to just follow a process, they feel compelled to improve it. You know, armed with product and industry knowledge, you can pivot as needed to expertly uncover the right problems and find hidden objections.
You act like an owner. You proactively take responsibility for your own pipeline/outcomes because you like to be in control of your own success, and thrive in roles where you are a critical contributor to the success of your company. You hate to be micromanaged because you know what needs to get done and when to ask for help.
What you bring
- 2 years as a top-performing AE in B2B SaaS
- You have closed six figure deals
- You have sold software that is not considered to be a “commodity”
- Bonus points if you’ve worked at an early/emerging-stage startup
