Local, family owned and operated, merchant building company seeking an experienced construction superintendent to add to our team as an infield construction management lead.

This role requires excellent communication skills, organization skills, and knowledge of the different phases of home construction with a personality that can manage the subcontractors while they perform their various scopes of work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ø Collaborating to Create, maintain, and adjust the project schedule.

• Ensuring compliance with Code, and quality standards.

• Maintaining relationships with trades and vendors

• Procurement of trades, equipment, and materials.

• Collaboration with team, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project needs.

• Estimate labor and costs for proposals.

• Monitor and report on project progress daily and or weekly to the team

• Plan inspections and ensure compliance and accuracy

• Implement and enforce safety and quality guidelines.

• Keep track of material stock and orders.

• Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly.

• Resolve on-site issues and emergencies.

Ø Requirements

• Previous experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role,

• Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites.

• In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes.

• Familiarity and ability to read construction drawings.

• Proficiency in MS Office, excel general computer literacy

• Organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to lead and inspire.

• Team oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
