BlueLine Companies is Hiring a P/T Maintenance Technician Near Grand Junction, CO

BlueLine Property Management is actively seeking a professional, hardworking and motivated team player for a part-time position. This is a unique position which will be responsible for property maintenance and operations of of a 34-unit apartment complex for youth that have experienced homelessness. Qualified candidates must possess the following skills in addition to being a motivated and positive self-starter:

Required Skills and Experience for Maintenance Technician:

  • Must diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as electrical, plumbing, exterior and appliance.
  • Responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of the property meet the company's established standards and any applicable laws. A successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, have patience with a challenging population and is a team-player.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills;
  • Strong customer service;
  • Ability to maintain physical condition of the community as well as completing maintenance requests for residents and unit turns;
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends for on-call;
  • Basic tools required;

Additional knowledge/experience:

  • Fair Housing experience or we will provide training
  • Tax Credit Certified or we will provide training

Physical Characteristics:The position requires the following:

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, proof of insurance; and acceptable background checks.
