About the team:

The Insights division drives high quality, innovative research and analysis across BlueLabs’ client sectors. Team members manage the underlying data that drives our day-to-day work, analyze and interpret data, provide strategic program insight, drive innovation across sectors, and collaborate closely with both our client and technical teams. 

The BlueLabs Insights practice works with non-profit, political, and private sector clients to provide them with high quality analysis to better understand the environment they operate in and inform future decision making. 

About the role:

In this newly created position within the Insights division, the Project Manager will design, implement, and manage analytical processes that track project milestones and deliverables for a private sector client. This position will develop a deep understanding of the business and client needs and develop solid relationships with key business stakeholders across internal and external teams to provide effective guidance of the deliverables. This role will also help drive strategic priorities and partner with stakeholders to communicate analytical findings and insights. This role will report to the VP, Insights. 

In this position you will:

  • Project manage the lifecycle of analytical projects including delivery quality, timeline and financial adherence, risk assessment and mitigation
  • Collaborate with key client stakeholders and internal teams to create detailed project plan(s) to manage a multi-layered project roadmap
  • Implement processes to deliver quality, consistency, and oversight of projects across the client team
  • Manage day to day communications with the client and internal teams, which will include: aligning tasks to moving priorities and regularly providing status updates, taking notes during meetings and communicating next steps to all stakeholders 
  • Identify and synthesize project and client goals and communicate findings with key stakeholders
  • Maintain project timelines, budgeting estimates, and status reports
  • Coordinate project team members, and develop schedules to oversee individual responsibilities
  • Use project management tools to track and communicate project performance and schedules
  • Organize and lead meetings to discuss project goals, risk, roadblocks, and progress

What we are seeking:

  • 3 years of relevant project management experience
  • Experience implementing and using project management tools and processes
  • Proven track record for being detail-oriented and self-motivated to follow-through on projects and tasks assigned to diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project prioritization, planning, schedule development, and budgetary oversight
  • Understanding of and ability to synthesize key imperatives and priorities from internal and external stakeholders 
  • Track record of implementing processes that drive operational excellence and scalability
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (including proficiency in Excel) 
  • Familiarity in analytical concepts and processes
  • Previous experience in polling, managing experimental designs, randomized control trials (RCTs), or tracking a marketing program is a plus
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling and interpreting data from experiments and modeling is a plus

What recruitment looks like:We strive to hire efficiently and transparently. We expect to onboard this position in October 2022. To get there, we anticipate the successful candidate will complete three interviews (HR 15 minutes, technical interview 45 minutes, and team interview 60 minutes), all virtually.

The salary for this position is $95,000 annually. 

While we prefer this position to be in the Washington, DC area, we are open to considering candidates from within the U.S.
