We are searching for a well-organized, reliable electronics technician to join our excellent company. The electronics technician's responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing electronics, reading manuals and installing new equipment, performing routine servicing and inspections, assisting with electronic upgrades, and reporting to the supervisor.
Additonal Responsibilities include and not limited to:
• Perform periodic inspections and maintenance tasks in accordance with O&M guidelines. Document results of all maintenance actions in systems and equipment records.• With assistance, troubleshoot and repair systems/equipment by reading and interpreting electronic/mechanical schematics and using simple and complex test equipment.• Assist in preparation of system reports, preventative maintenance logs and other logs or reports as they pertain to the daily operations of electronic systems.• Assist to install, check, calibrate, and perform acceptance tests on new and relocated systems and equipment.• Set up, check out, operate, and monitor systems and equipment in support of Operations. Responds to changing operational requirements when directed.• 20% Travel • Work is performed indoors and outdoors. Outdoor work is subject to teperature extremes and inclement weather conditions. • Performs other duties as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent• Three to five years hands-on experience maintaining electronic equipment • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level.• Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred• Two year college degree in a technical field of study (engineering technician, electronics technician, or computer networks).• Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills.• Great interpersonal skills.• Passion for Electronics.• Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
