Bluegreen Vacations Corporation is Hiring a Senior HR Generalist Near Boca Raton, FL

Purpose: The Senior HR Generalist – Sales Integrity, Shared Services, works in the Associate Resource Center as part of a dedicated team of HR professionals, serving over Bluegreen Vacations associates across all channels of business. This role will serve as the lead to investigate sales integrity policy escalations and to ensure that appropriate corrective action is taken to ensure compliance going forward. This role will also provide support in all aspects of human resources, including interpreting and reviewing policies, employment laws, associate relations, employee benefits, compensation, hiring, terminations, legal and compliance matters, training and development and performance management. The Sr. HR Generalist will also serve as an advisor to site leadership to provide recommendations for solutions relating to sales integrity compliance matters and to resolve AR issues at their earliest point. This role will also provide coaching and training on relative topics relating to the sales integrity policy and program and on HR best practices, policies and procedures. This role will also work proactively with company management on training and HR initiatives related to sales integrity compliance, workforce planning, policy/state law compliance, performance standards and related matters to support Bluegreen’s growth initiatives and to improve associate satisfaction, engagement and retention. Independent judgment and discretion are regularly used by the SR HR Generalist regarding matters of significance in a variety of manager, employee and administrative decision-making situations. Responsibilities: Lead internal investigations into sales integrity issues or other matters that may violate company policy. Ensure proper disciplinary action and documentation is completed in line with HR polices and best practices. Serve as a sound advisor to associates and site leadership on sales integrity issues including but not limited to, sales integrity, attendance, punctuality, behavior, performance standards and policy compliance. Maintain and analyze metric reporting related to sales escalation activity to identify process improvement opportunities and to reduce customer complaints and sales alerts. Work proactively with company management to provide feedback on sales integrity trends Provide guidance, advice, training and retraining to improve understanding of employment laws, HR policies and best practices, and Sales Integrity Policy compliance. Participate in HR audits relating to sales integrity and HR policy compliance. Interact with associate via inbound calls, live chats, social media and other platforms to answer all inquiries using HR knowledge and expertise Act as the point of contact for escalated inquiries from employees that require a high-level knowledge of HR processes and applicable laws to ensure compliance and that responses are following company policies and procedures Manage unresolved inquiries from employees by partnering with the COEs to gather a response, and then decide on how this information is communicated to be used by the Service Delivery team for future inquiries related to the topic Help guide associates with facts on the organization, HR programs, policies, procedures and the processes; perform research as needed to fully resolve inquiries Supports HR programs, processes and procedures emanating from HR Shared Services or other HR leadership areas Provide associate and managerial guidance and recommendations on Company policies, procedures, documentation, and state and federal laws or other compliance matters Train, coach, and influence management in decision making when executing promotion, transfer, discipline, and terminations Work in conjunction with HR Business Partners as requested, in investigations and conducting interviews relating to discrimination charges, wrongful termination, agency complaints and other legal and Company policy matters Provides support to HR Business Partners on organizational changes including, but not limited to, office openings, closings, acquisitions and restructurings Review requests and makes hiring decisions relating to non-compete, rehire and timeshare exit firm approvals Prepare various associate documentation, including but not limited to separation letters/agreements, leave of absence notification letters, and other related associate communications Support metric preparation, analysis and reporting in partnership with HR Business Partners Reviews and responds to general unemployment agency inquiries; identify and escalate sensitive separation matters to HR Business Partners for review and action as required Support special project activities and any other duties as assigned Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience Previous HR Generalist experience preferred, with experience in labor and employee relations matters 5-8 years’ experience as an HR Specialist (or similar role) 3-5 years’ experience in timeshare sales, quality assurance and hospitality industry strongly preferred MS Office Suite, knowledge PHR/SPHR certification preferred HRIS knowledge and experience (Ceridian Dayforce preferred) Salesforce experience a plus Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong ability to think strategically and analyze information quickly and accurately Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communication effectively with all levels of the organization High ability to maintain and manage multiple job functions such as incoming calls, emails, service tickets, and navigating HRIS platforms Strong customer service and organizational skills Knowledge of federal/state employment laws and compliance requirements Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
