Purpose: The Project Coordinator is an Information Technology professional at Bluegreen Vacations Corporation who has responsibility for managing and delivering small to medium size technology projects. The Project Coordinator will plan and manage the project lifecycle activities for multiple, concurrent projects. Project Coordinators are responsible for planning and in partnership with technical management to oversee projects and activities are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project coordinators will assist with planning and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed. Responsibilities: Adheres to established IT project management processes and methodologies Supports decisions made by the applicable project technical lead/manager and takes timely independent actions in pursuit of project priorities within the constraints of quality, scope, schedule and budget. Manage small to medium projects and possibly larger ones depending on experience and abilities, including resource and financial project planning Is responsible for with the development of project schedules and other related project documentation required for delivery (i.e., manage issues/risks, creation of status reports etc) Coordinates project deliverables across all areas of the organization and with vendors Ensure all project deliverables are completed according to plan Supports the processes in place which are required to meet project deliverables Support development of project Change Requests impacting scope, time, and budget Work with vendors, technical teams, and others to coordinate daily activities and project implementations Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Identify, document and communicate lessons learned Provide performance feedback on project team resources Develop good working relationships with both internal and external business partners Requirements: 2 year degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or related field. 1-2 yrs experience as a Project Manager; or 2 years in a IT Business Analyst Role, or other technology role where the candidate is looking to make a career change Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) desired but not required.
