What You'll Do:

As a Software Engineer III at Bluebeam, you'll play a critical role in the impact our tools have on industry advancement, efficiency, and sustainability. As part of our Cloud development team that is charged with taking our flagship product and real time collaboration services into the future, you will help design and implement cloud-based solutions to power our vision of a connected future.

You will contribute to our technical roadmap and help to mentor and share your knowledge. Working at Bluebeam will give you exposure to a wide array of technologies such as large-scale image rendering, real-time collaboration services, and 3D Image Processing, just to name a few. 

• You have a passion for architecting distributed and scalable solutions that are testable, performant and easy to maintain.

• Partner with business and technology team members, to understand requirements and translate them into value-add technology solutions
• Willingness to learn and expand skills and repertoire
• A positive mindset, team-oriented, results driven, and organized.
• You will assist the team with the transition to Golang.

Skills & Experience:

• 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer
• 2 years building high performing/data intensive applications running in the Cloud.
• Experience developing and deploying on the AWS platform using a variety of tools and services (EC2, EKS, SQS, Kinesis, Lambda, DynamoDB).
• Backend development experience in Golang
• Experience designing, creating microservices and delivering to market.
• Experience implementing infrastructure as code (IaC), including building and integrating into CI / CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying services in containers and using container orchestration.
• Use APIs and understanding of HTTP and REST architecture
• Experience designing, creating APIs and delivering to market

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GraphQL
• Web development experience using React, Svelte, Vue, etc
• Experience with iOS and/or Android development
• Graphics programming (WebGL, CoreGraphics, etc.)
• Experience with inverted index data stores (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Solr, etc.)
• Familiarity with OAuth and OIDC
