Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is Hiring a Tableau Developer Near Washington, DC
Blue Rose is seeking a Tableau Developer to support our work with a federal client in Washington D.C. This is an On-site role and is open to U.S. Citizens, Dual Citizens, and US Persons ONLY.
Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
In this role you will:
- Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
- Develop new visualizations and enhance existing visualizations, in Power BI and Tableau (and possibly other tools including Socrata) against a variety of data sources, including Microsoft SQL Server, Excel Files, SharePoint lists, .csv files, and Oracle Databases
- Work with clients in HR, Procurement, and other organizations to define requirements, develop and demonstrate report prototypes, iterate until a final report format is developed, test, and deploy to production
- Assess alternatives such as storing data in a data warehouse in addition to Tableau internal storage
REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Tableau/Advanced Experience REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Data Warehouse Tools/Intermediate Experience REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Ab Initio Extract Transform Load (ETL) Tool/ Intermediate Experience REQUIRED
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Microsoft SQL Server/Intermediate Experience REQUIRED
Salary: $135,000
