Blue Rose is seeking a Jr. Java Developer (Pipeline) to support our work with a federal client. This is a Hybrid role in, Columbia, MD, requiring you to spend approximately 40% of the time (2 days per week) onsite. This position is open to U.S. Citizens ONLY.

Successful candidates will be required to obtain a Secret Clearance (interim is required to start work).

In this role, you will:

• Help build Web and backend application/services for a credentialing/case management system
• Use Java/Spring based REST APIs along with a Web 2.0 framework and a continuous integration environment
• Join a team of developers building the next generation of customer engagement systems for federal service agencies

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must have:

• 0-2 years of experience in JUnit Testing Framework
• 0-2 years of experience in JavaScript
• 1 year of experience using Java to build enterprise applications
• 1 year of experience using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, Junit, Git)
• 1 year of recent experience developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and Java

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in large scale Federal IT Program
• Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework

• Bachelor’s degree

Salary: $75,000 - $87,000
