Blue Origin, LLC is Hiring a Help Desk Technician II Near Arthur C. Clarke Point (CP), WA

As part of a small and highly skilled team, you will provide technical support to our engineers and staff to support a company building and launching space vehicles. This role will directly support operations as a member of the Information Technology department and reports directly to the West Region Supervisor of IT Support. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to high standards to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Qualifications: Proven track record working in a customer-facing, high volume enterprise-level technical helpdesk or desktop support role for at least three years, an IT-related AS degree or BA/BS degree can substitute for one and two years respectively Valid driver’s license and insurance to operate company vehicles Travel (<10%) as needed within the United States to support remote offices Willing to be flexible with scheduled days and hours with reasonable notice as needed during operations or On-Call Extensive experience supporting Windows 10, Microsoft Office including Project and Visio, Domain account and computer management, Adobe products, Antivirus, Disk Encryption, and VPN applications Configure, troubleshoot and repair workstation hardware, peripherals, software components, and printers Assist with administering IT Support-owned servers and services and contribute to documentation, policy development and process improvements Understand networking infrastructure (VLANs, DNS, DHCP, etc.) Experience administering endpoint management software platforms, desktop provisioning technologies such as SCCM and PXE, as well as Exchange Fundamental knowledge of Mac OS and Linux Active Directory security group administration Ability to identify potential changes and system improvements to present to senior team leaders for consideration and implementation Self-starter able to work with minimal direction Customer-centric attitude to support and instruct computer users to provide efficient resolution/solutions for complex problems Able to quickly assess situations and adapt to dynamic priorities Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to our culture of inclusion Required to be able to lift/carry up to fifty pounds as well as physically climb multiple flights of stairs, withstand prolonged standing, walk long distances and work in adverse weather conditions Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
