A strong bias for automating everything – we dislike and avoid manual processes. Technical breadth and depth with a strong understanding of emerging trends. A natural curiosity. You will be tasked with problems that nobody knows how to solve and you will need to figure out the solution with minimal direction / guidance. Humility and a willingness to operate in unfamiliar domains. A strong “customer first” personality and desire to be a subject matter expert. Responsibilities: Support commercial off-the-shelf software and cloud systems, including ad‐ ministration, configuration, customization, and upgrades Work directly with internal customers to understand business problems and decompose into solutions within the systems you manage Work directly with vendors to evaluate systems for feasibility and technical fit against business requirements Write code to automate business processes and build integrations between systems Represent the team/organization in steering committees with stakeholders from across the company. Gather user feedback/bug reports. Create/manage support tickets with vendors. Investigate/troubleshooting performance issues and application behavior Plan and perform upgrades of systems. Qualifications: BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience. Understanding of modern software development practices Interest in analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems Familiarity with one or more of the following: Groovy, Java, Python, or JavaScript Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
