Blue Origin Florida, LLC is Hiring a Program/Project Manager Near Launch Complex, FL

As a Program/Project Manager within the rapid development group, you will be part of the Lifecycle Project and Program Management section for the Advanced Development Programs business area and directly support the Senior Program Manager for the rapid development work group. You will engage with the team, manage, and own aspects of a significant program including its program plan with associated cost, schedule, resource needs, risks & opportunities, and change management. You will use your technical background to understand and effectively communicate with Blue Origin internal and external organizations and suppliers to guide project planning and execution. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required! Qualifications: B.S. Business, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Management, or similar 6 years’ experience in the aerospace industry with engagement in program/project management and business management in a development environment Ability to work in a very dynamic, rapid manufacturing environment Excellent written, communication and presentation skills Aptitude for hands-on problem solving, with a passion for space systems Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Coordinate and work closely with program and project managers to meet design, build, and test milestones for launch and space vehicles Experience with Primavera, MS Project or Similar Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Desired: Master’s degree in project management or PMP certification 3 years’ experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment Experience in project lifecycle management of aerospace systems and management of gated reviews.
