Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately perform and record vital signs -including: height/ weight , gain/loss and fluid intake/output of a patient
- Assisting physicians with innovative treatment
- Providing personal care in a manner conducive to the clients’ safety and comfort
- Perform routine care rounds on each assigned resident, at minimum, every two hours
- Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and the importance of reporting such changes to a supervisor
- Community Relations: Actively cultivate strong communication/relationships throughout the service area with key Single Entry Point personnel, establishing and maintaining a strong company reputation
- Meetings: Participate in regular meetings as required
Educational Requirements:
- Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study under state regulation.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
- Graduate of a state approved nursing assistant training program and passed a state approved competency examination
Qualifications
- Ability to handle physical workload and build rapport with patients
- Gives detailed reports at beginning and end of shifts
- Positive and patient demeanor, caring at heart
- Assists with feeding residents and transports and escorts residents to and from activities
