Job Description

We are a pediatric therapy clinic with locations in Chicago's West Loop, Northcenter, and Wheaton seeking a full time Facilities Manager! We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance and other great benefits!

Responsibilities

• Regular maintenance of building, facility, and all company property, which includes HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
• Office porterage as required, including office moves, furniture moves, deliveries and collections
• Handles basic repairs and maintenance
• Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed
• Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary
• Diagnose and correct mechanical issues
• Install appliances and equipment
• Sets up and tears down furniture and equipment for events as needed
• Maintain exterior property, including snow removal
• Remove and properly dispose of recyclable and waste materials
• Open and close building according to security procedures

Requirements

• Must pass federal background check
• Proven working experience in facilities maintenance including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Enjoy working in a busy, fast pace environment with children present
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Experience in preventative maintenance and repair processes.
• Ability to travel between locations (West Loop, Northcenter, Wheaton) and reliable transportation
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• High school degree
