Position Overview:

If you want to join a fast-paced, retail obsessed, team that is growing and breaking new ground for Blenders, this is the place for you. We are looking for a retail marketing manager who is entrepreneurial, creative and analytical to help us make our brick and mortar stores a place where customers love to shop.

We need a marketing expert who will be responsible for creating and implementing the retail stores marketing strategy. This position will collaborate with both internal and external cross-functional teams to determine the marketing strategy of our retail fleet as it relates to in-store marketing, product assortment, community outreach, events and visual merchandising.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with our HQ marketing team to ensure the integrated marketing calendar translates into retail calendar to deliver on consistent brand experiences, support our product launches, drive traffic to stores and build brand awareness
  • Oversees new store opening marketing strategy and execution to drive traffic and grow awareness to our stores in all markets we open stores
  • Briefs and manages all new and existing store social media rollouts 
  • Develops and executes store-specific marketing plans that support the business objectives (i.e., community outreach, events, activities) for all retail locations
  • Drives traffic and sales through effective local store marketing initiatives, including but not limited to print, digital, social media, in-store events, and grassroots marketing
  • Manages budgets for each retail location, ensuring cost-effective use of marketing resources
  • Monitors competitor activity and adjusts marketing plans accordingly to maintain a competitive edge
  • Keeps abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure the highest standards of quality in all marketing initiatives
  • Works closely with Operations, Visual Merch, Creative, Marketing, Performance Marketing amongst others, to create engaging campaigns and programs, build consensus and drive real results (traffic, awareness)
  • Generates reports on marketing campaign results and ROI, making recommendations for future campaigns based on findings
  • Coordinates the production of all retail marketing materials, from conception to delivery
  • Collaborates on the implementation of our existing customer loyalty program with marketing peers.
  • Works with store management teams and staff to ensure all marketing activities are carried out flawlessly and in a timely manner
  • Trains, supports and assists in the management a team of assistant store managers who are responsible for executing marketing plans at the store level

Skills:

  • Passion for the Blenders brand and must embody the Blenders culture
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate marketing direction in visual, written, and verbal formats
  • Demonstrated communication, organization, time management, and problem-solvingSkills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business acumen as it relates to retail sales and customer engagement
  • Flexibility to shift focus and priorities

Work Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience with in-store & retail marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Experience in Retail Management
  • 10-15% travel time
  • This role is required to work out of the Blenders HQ 2-3 days per week minimum
  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $64,000 - $80,000/yr. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
