Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time, school-based contract role in Revere, MA. Key ResponsibilitiesBehavioral Assessment: Perform thorough functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors. Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on these assessments.
Intervention Design and Implementation: Create and apply effective behavior intervention strategies tailored to each student's needs. Ensure interventions are consistently executed and modified as necessary based on ongoing evaluation of student progress.
Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure a coordinated approach to behavior management. Provide training and support to educators and parents on behavior management techniques and strategies.
Data Collection and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of behavioral data, track student progress, and analyze data to make informed decisions and adjustments to behavior plans.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all behavior interventions and practices adhere to local and state regulations and follow best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in ABA.
Certification: Must hold a current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
Experience: Significant experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred.
Regulatory Compliance: Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements for practicing as a BCBA in Massachusetts.
Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
