Your Role You’re learning to be part of the leadership group responsible for the care and inspiration of our team. Working closely with the District and Store Manager you’ll learn to teach, coach and develop great team members and actively seek tomorrow’s leaders. As you probably know, it’s all about developing the team and helping others achieve their career goals. The purpose of this role is to develop you into the next great Store Manager!
Here are the rest of the details. You’ll also perform a lot of the store work, including being and amazing customer service enthusiast, cash and credit transaction, responsibly selling alcohol, tobacco and lottery products and the normal retail recordkeeping. You may also be assigned to different stores within the district to see how other leaders handle things!
Yes, you’ll probably be in the store on different shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. We suggest looking at it this way, these are great times to really understand the business, your customers and your team. This understanding will help as you prepare for your future career path!
