DESIGN ENGINEER

Blair Image Elements, a leader in supplying signage and related branding elements to regional, national and international clients, is currently seeking design engineers with 0 – 5 years experience to join our Engineering team based in Altoona, Pennsylvania. As part of this team, you will be responsible for day-to-day signage design and creation for clients.

What you’ll be doing:

• Create design packages using existing standards and from scratch
• Use 2D and 3D CAD to develop shop drawings and installation instructions
• Maintain customer brand standards
• Create detailed Bill of Materials and Bill of Operations

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Effective at building interdepartmental relationships
