Job Title: Email Marketing Specialist

Job Summary

The Email Marketing Specialist is a full-time position on the Blade HQ Marketing Team. This person is responsible for executing email marketing campaigns for the Blade HQ E-commerce website.

Tasks

• Conceptualize, produce, write, and execute daily marketing emails that romance knives and outdoor products and sweetly lull knife knuts into buying more knives.
• Closely follow email performance, product inventory, and sales trends to create smart marketing.
• Curate email lists and segments to maximize email campaign reach and increase conversions.

Skills

• Proficient in grammar and attention to detail is a must.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred: Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Excel skills are a plus.
• Receptive to receiving and giving feedback.
• E-commerce experience a plus.
• Ability to meet deadlines, learn quickly, think outside the box, and work with a diverse and dynamic team.
• Drip/email marketing experience a plus.

Physical Demands

• Safe handling of knives and other edged cutting tools.
• Sitting and standing for long periods.
• Typing, clicking, and looking at computer screens for long periods.

Work Environment

• Standard office environment.
• This is an on-site position. No freelance or remote.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or Journalism preferred
• Note: This is an entry-level position. It's perfect for self-starters and gear nuts looking to learn marketing from the ground up.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• Full-time, hourly position (40 hrs/week), on-site. Must be willing to arrive at work by 9 a.m.
