• Mast Permit required
• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record
• Learning Beer styles and descriptions
• Handle ringing up sales
• Setting up booth outside
• Managing inventory
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

About Position:

The Farmers' Market Salesperson sells Black Fleet Brewing products at farmers markets in and around the Tacoma area. You’ll learn about different styles and taste profiles of beer so you can describe the products and answer questions about the products. The salesperson is responsible for processing all transactions (cash and credit) and keeping track of sales at the market in order to close out at the end of the day.

Primary Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Packing the products and supplies needed prior to the opening of the market in accordance with the Black Fleet Brewing Farmers Market Checklist
• Transporting the products and supplies to / from the market location
• Black Fleet Brewing vendor booth set up (adhering to BFB Farmers Market booth set up guidelines), including setting up the tent, table(s), products, signage, etc.
• Maintaining vendor booth appearance and product inventory
• BFB vendor booth breakdown, including packing up all unsold products in an organized and careful manner, cleaning the area, and disposing of trash appropriately
• The Brand Ambassador is expected to wear a clean BFB logo t-shirt (will be provided)

Skills and Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Clean and neat appearance to provide a positive company image to the public
• Work requires travel and the ability to transport supplies / inventory, therefore possession of a valid state driver’s license is required.
