Bkf Engineers is Hiring a Marketing Coordinator Near Newport Beach, CA

BKF Engineers is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. We are looking for a candidate who is self-driven, efficient with deadlines, and able to work effectively with diverse teams of engineers, marketers, and design staff to create persuasive and standout deliverables. In this role, you will be an integral member of the marketing and business development department providing support and collaboration on all internal and external messaging. Additionally, you will be challenged with developing and executing compelling written and visual content that promotes BKF’s services and brand. The location of this position is based out of our Walnut Creek, Santa Rosa, or Newport Beach offices.

BKF is a civil engineering and surveying firm that leverages 107 years of experience to design some of the most iconic projects across the Pacific West Coast. With 16 offices and 540 staff, BKF has a unique team environment that fosters collaboration and innovation.

Responsibilities may include:

• Respond to multiple concurrent pursuits by helping coordinate and produce high-quality proposals and presentations, including layout, formatting, proofreading, coordinating graphics, editing/reviewing, and production

• Coordinate with department managers for scope and fees, if needed
• Maintain an organized filing system for proposals, including databases
• Gather, format, and maintain accurate, up-to-date firm marketing information
• creating proposals, including writing, research, data gathering, execution
• Plan and execute various marketing campaigns in support of the firm’s strategic business plan
• Maintain marketing files in Deltek, Hubspot, InDesign, and OpenAsset

• Coordinate and produce award and recognition submittal packages
• Assist with special projects, as needed
• On occasion, may require flexible hours

Knowledge and experience required:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English Degree or equivalent demonstrated experience. 
• 3-5 years of experience with the RFP process and proposal production, preferably with an A/E/C firm
• Compensation and title commensurate with experience
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Must have the ability to work well with others especially department managers, project managers, and anyone involved in business development efforts. 
• Prefer strong Graphic Design eye, but not required
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Deltek Vision experience is a plus

Location & Salary

The typical salary range for this position is $62,850 - $89,850 annualized depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. This is an hourly position paid bi-weekly.

BKF utilizes a hybrid work model to support work-life balance. This position will be based out of any of the following offices:  Newport Beach, Walnut Creek, or Santa Rosa
