BKF Engineers is Hiring an Accounting Intern Near Oakland, CA
The Accounting Intern will support the accounting department in the following areas:
- Support Month-end close activities
- Support Project Accountants with project setup, billing, project maintenance, collection and project close out
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables
- Support Payroll functions
- Assist Controller/CFO with special projects or analysis as required
- Bachelor's Degree or pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Good mathematical aptitude
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Proficient knowledge with Excel
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
This position is 4 days remote and 1 day in the Oakland office. This is a remarkable opportunity for someone who is not only good with numbers and people but also looking for a career in the accounting field. You will be exposed to Deltek Vision Accounting System and see the Accounting operation of an organization.
Length of assignment:
3 months with opportunity for extension
