BizFirst is Hiring a Governance Analyst I Near Leesburg, VA
This is a remote position. Governance Analyst I – BizFirst is seeking an experienced Government Analyst I to support Navy ERP transformational initiatives within government agencies. Our client is a boutique consulting firm that employs consultants and professionals with unique skill sets to support the federal government with strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation. Functional Responsibilities:
Serves as an analyst who systematically integrates and performs tasks related to Governance & Requirements Management to improve and transform Navy ERP operations and performance.
Supports the review, analysis, and evaluation of Navy Financial Management needs to create solutions that support overall strategies.
Assists in the gathering of information for the preparation and conducting of analyses and studies.
Performs other administrative tasks related to planning and coordination. Coordinates with client at the working level.
Relevant Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience. Minimum Education: Bachelor's (Additional 2 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree requirement). Desired Experience:
Requisite Navy ERP and SAP subject matter expertise to respond to emerging changes in the Navy ERP and applicable operating environments by providing senior SAP-level personnel
Program Management and Data and Analytics
End-to-end knowledge of the DON’s organizational structure, business processes, and financially relevant systems
End-to-end knowledge of the Navy’s organizational structure, business processes, and financially relevant IT systems
Possess executive and strategic communication skills to support Portfolio governance and the ability to develop and publish written documents such as Memos
Significant program/project management experience to ensure coordination and communication with stakeholders to manage expectations, execute timely status reporting and escalate critical project risks to inform leadership.
Deep understanding of DON structure and ability to communicate and coordinate with both internal and external organizations and stakeholders
Knowledge of Department of Defense Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
Strong understanding of IT systems portfolio management within the government
