Job Title: GCP DevOps Engineer
Employment Type: Full-time Permanent W-2 Employee
Work Type: Remote or Hybrid (2-3 days/week onsite in Crystal City, VA)

What You Will Do:
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage multi-tenant environments in GCP, focusing on high availability, scalability, and security.
Design and implement GCP-based CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Utilize GCP services such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub to optimize deployment strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, and security experts, to support application deployment and maintenance.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
Monitor, log, and troubleshoot GCP-based applications and infrastructure using Google Cloud Monitoring and Logging.
Ensure compliance with security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM) policies, firewall rules, and encryption.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for GCP infrastructure and DevOps processes.
Requirements:
US Citizenship Required: Only US Citizens are eligible for this position.
Clearance: US Citizens, our client will sponsor security clearance.
Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
Experience: Minimum of 6 years in a DevOps or related role, with substantial experience in GCP environments.
GCP Expertise: Strong experience with GCP services, including GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and IAM.
Automation Tools: Proficiency in Terraform and Google Cloud Deployment Manager for IaC.
CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Google Cloud Build, or GitLab CI.
Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with Google Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and Stackdriver.
Security Practices: Knowledge of GCP security best practices, including VPC configurations, IAM policies, and encryption standards.
Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented: A meticulous approach with a strong focus on quality and detail in all deliverables.
Nice to Have:
Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Experience with AI/ML tooling in GCP (Kubeflow, TensorFlow Extended).
Familiarity with Active Directory integration and identity management in GCP environments.
