BIX Produce Company is Hiring a Night Production Operator Near Canada, MN

- Starting pay at $18.25 up to $20.75 an hour
- Sunday - Friday, Saturday off 1 weekday
- Sunday start 4PM, Monday - Friday start 5PM to Production Completion
Responsibilities
• Operate spinners, conveyors, hoists, lifts, conveyors and other machinery.• Operate dicer, slicers, sealers, and other food production machines. • Operate CVP’s, matrix, and bagging machines. • Coring of Lettuce and Cabbage with tools recommended by Team or Area Lead.• Hand cutting and peeling numerous types of fruits and vegetables.• Being able to operate and read scales.• General clean up duties (sweeping, emptying garbage, etc.)• Washing down equipment with hoses and use flume washing system. • Operate any equipment necessary for the Production lines, such as conveyors, bin dumps, potato peelers, etc.• Ensure Product Quality• Follow all GMP’s.• Food Safety as it relates to this position.• Any other tasks assigned by Team Leads/ Area Leads.
Qualifications
• Previous machine operating experience• Food industry experience• Attention to detail
• Environment is cold (0 degrees to 40 degrees) and wet at all times.• Requires standing and/or walking for long periods of time (8 hours per day).• Ability to lift 50 pounds plus on a regular and consistent basis. • Ability to read and communicate in English.• Basic math skills• Attention to detail.• Position requires hard hat and hearing protection (provided).
