Location: Ft. Meade, MD

We are looking for an Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our customer's operational readiness team. Candidates should be versed in the software development lifecycle and should be able to design, develop, and maintain large code repositories. We're building high-quality, mission-ready solutions here!

You can expect to:

  • Engineer data flows to automate collection of metrics
  • Develop custom dashboards to visualize program metrics
  • Explore the application of predictive analytics to improve program efficiency

You'll need the following experience for this role:

  • At least 4 years of general experience in a technical role such as software development or engineering
  • NOTE: If you have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, you can use it to substitute 4 years of general experience. For example, if you have a bachelor's degree as described but no professional experience, you qualify for this role.
  • Experience with software development languages
  • Experience with scripting languages, like Python
  • Data flow design/management experience using frameworks like Apache NiFi
