BitGo is Hiring a Remote Technical Program Manager

BitGo is looking for a Technical Program Manager to help lead planning, development and execution of key projects within the Engineering department. You will engage with a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. Qualified candidates will have a background in program or product management within a technical field such as IT, DevOps, or software.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of engineers and other cross-functional representatives in building custody and prime solutions for institutional clients
  • Work with leadership to develop the roadmap, strategy, and execution for your area of ownership
  • Analyze, plan and drive requirements and standards in reference to key projects
  • Identify significant opportunities in an ambiguous area, build consensus around the roadmap, and work with your team to execute
  • Assign and oversee daily tasks of engineers while ensuring work aligns with established milestones
  • Define success for your team, determine metrics, and develop processes to measure progress towards your goals

Required Skills & Experience: 

BitGo is looking for people who are passionate about their craft, take full ownership for their work and projects, and believe in transparent and collaborative culture with the goal of making BitGo successful.

  • 4 years of experience driving projects with infrastructure/DevOps engineers or software engineers
  • Experience defining the vision and strategy for a product and a proven track record of bringing products to market
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • A jack-of-all trades with a get-things-done attitude — whether this be working on designs, writing up a QA plan, or investigating a client issue
  • Ability to drive team efficiency is a very fluid and rapidly changing environment 
  • Obsessing over the details but also understanding how to ship on time
  • Desire to bring digital assets to the forefront of the global economy
  • Experience in Fintech or Blockchain environments is a plus
