| The Human Resources Generalist manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office. The HR Generalist manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Employee Relations, Training and Development, Benefits, Compensation, Organizational Development, and Employment. The Human Resources generalist is responsible for all or part of these areas: The Human Resources Generalist originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. The Human Resources Generalist coordinates implementation of services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff; reports to the Human Resources Director and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issue and practices. |
Qualifications
| • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and be sensitive to maintaining confidentiality. • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with programs, external partners and colleagues and executive management. • Expert level written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability. • Emotional maturity. • Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently. • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrates the highest level of customer service and response. • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Performs additional duties as required by Human Resources Manager. Education BS degree. Master’s degree in Human Resources preferred, or 5 years’ experience in Human Resources. |
