POSITION SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day Recruiting and Human Resources operations across the assigned BioUrja Group business units. While the role’s primary responsibility is Recruiting for all business units, including related social media presence, this role will also carry out various HR Generalist responsibilities including onboarding, compensation, training and development, and performance management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage Hiring Manager relationships across all lines of business.
· Support multiple business units as an HR Generalist.
· Build a network and pipeline of passive and active candidates.
· Manage ATS, job board postings and vendor relationships.
· Prepare recruitment reports for management.
· Review resumes and conduct phone screens.
· Steward the recruiting life cycle by scheduling interviews and meetings with team members and hiring managers.
· Attend college career fairs and events and conduct campus interviews.
· Stay abreast of recruiting trends and topics.
· Continually improve the recruiting process and candidate experience.
· Collaborate with Marketing to manage employer brand and recruiting messaging.
· Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and completing personnel transactions.
· Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
· Assist in ad hoc HR projects as needed.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICIATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other business-related field of study.
· 0-5 years Recruiting and HR experience for all functional levels (Non-Exempt to Executive level recruitment).
· Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, conditional formatting, data tables, etc.).
· Ability to multitask while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy in a high-paced environment.
· Excellent analytical problem-solving capabilities; ability to exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
· Ability to combine HR knowledge with information retrieval skills and translate technical data into non-technical formats for ease of understanding and administration.
· Able to exercise a high degree of confidentiality.
· Highly energetic and self-starter.
· Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
