Job Title:InternDepartment:Quality AssuranceReports To:Quality Assurance ManagerFLSA Status:Non-Exempt (Full-Time or Part-Time) Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at anytime at the discretion of management, formally or informally, in either verbalor written form. Position SummaryThe incumbent provides clerical support to the Quality Assurance department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Performs and maintains documentation and compliance standards withadherence to USFDA, OECD and MHLW Good Laboratory Practices regulations asrequired.· Interns will be available for assistance in all areas of the QualityAssurance department.· Desire to learn valuable hands-on experience in a Quality Assuranceregulatory environment.· Ability to perform library scientific literature searches in journals,books, or computerized on-line databases.· Ability to develop skills in data processing, analysis, and reportwriting.· Specific duties may vary with each program. Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; ability to communicate clearly in both written and oral forms; completion of college science courses in chemistry, biology, and/or related sciences; ability to communicate well with clients, familiarity with general office equipment, able to type 35 words per minute. Language SkillsAbility to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Physical Job RequirementsNote: The physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
