Position Summary:

The responsibilities of this position are to support the DD Shipping Department by preparing International and Domestic orders for OEM, Distributor and Survey customers and floating to help Retail Shipping / Set Assembly.

This is a temporary position expected to last six months, with the potential for extension for the right candidate. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists with receiving product from Product Finishing and release to Set Assembly
• Prepares OEM, International, Survey and Domestic shipments for final packing and shipping
• Coordinates with administrative support for collating of paperwork for shipments
• Assembly of shipping cartons – based on department needs
• Assist Set Assembly and Retail Shipping
• Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the handbook and follows guidelines regarding safety and outlined in AWAIR, Chemical Hygiene and Exposure Control manuals in accordance with the job.
• Performs additional duties assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent with 0 to 2 years’ experience required
• ERP experience preferred (Microsoft AX)
• Ability to complete tasks accurately and productively 
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills required
• Knowledge of basic office equipment including computers and photocopiers preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Computer entry and/or typing skills are desirable
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• This job requires extensive standing and occasional heavy lifting of 45 lbs
