Location:

The position will be based out of Morehead City, NC or Graham, NC. We currently offer a hybrid working environment—3 days in the office and 2 days remote.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The ideal individual will manage multiple projects, including HighJump’s Warehouse Advantage platform, and have a sound knowledge of business processes, including finance, supply chain, and fulfillment.

The Project Manager is responsible for the following:

  • Proactively and holistically leading and supporting a team of professionals in completing projects by deadlines and serving as a critical project team member
  • Creating short- and long-term plans, including formulating and defining the scope and objectives for assigned projects
  • Making effective decisions and monitoring the progress of projects
  • Directing and managing project development from beginning to end including delegating tasks on projects to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Managing changes in project scope, identifying potential issues, and developing solutions
  • Communicating project plans, expectations, issues, successes, progress clearly and timely
  • Performing quality control on projects throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Understanding and actively supporting business goals, objectives and outcomes, capabilities, value streams, and processes
  • Developing high-quality and highly efficient programs including continuing to enhance, maintain, and scale WMS capabilities
  • Translating business requirements into solutions
  • Creating functional and technical specifications from user requirements


Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required.   • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in project management; Project Management Professional certification preferred
  • Previous experience with any WMS preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Experience with Supply Chain Execution software
