Are you an experienced bartender looking to work evenings and weekends? Big Delicious Planet is hiring experienced bartenders to join our events and wedding team!
This is an as-we-need-you job. Shifts and locations vary, but generally in the city and a 5-10 hour shift.
- Must have experience making all types of cocktails and following recipes for batched drinks
- Must be able prep bar garnish and syrups
- Must be able to set-up a great looking bar for events and weddings
- Must be BASSETT certified and know how to professionally handle underage and intoxicated guests
- Must have your own bartender kit (shaker, bottle opener, etc)
- Job also requires packing the mixers package from BDP, loading in and out of venues, cleaning up, recycling, managing glassware, keeping a tidy and presentable bar
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand on feet for long periods of time
- Must be punctual and reliable, always bringing form of ID to all events
- Must be neatly groomed for working professional events
- Our event attire is pressed black trousers or nice black denim, plain clean black sneakers or dress shoes, a black t-shirt, and BDP will provide a chambray shirt and a waist apron.
