Valet Attendant

We are looking for exceptional Valet Attendants. If you are interested in working in a beautiful private country club with outstanding service and people, then consider Big Canyon. Must be able to work part time including holidays and weekends.

The Valet Attendant reports to the Valet Supervisor. They greet members and guests, assist them from and into their vehicles, parks and retrieves their cars safely and quickly. As a Valet team member, you are the first and last impression of the Club, and expected to be courteous, polite, and helpful. This position is part time.

• Maintaining a high standard of safety and cleanliness

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greeting members and guests while assisting them from and into vehicles.
• Maintaining a courteous, polite and helpful demeanor and attitude
• Follow opening-shift, mid-shift, and closing shift procedures and side work duties
• Having knowledge of the events of the week, including events, new member arrivals, visitor cards, etc.
• Upholding a clean and presentable valet area including appearance and organization of member keys and belongings
• Properly marking all valet claim tickets with name, vehicle information, and location of vehicles
• Safely operating and park member vehicles, guest vehicles and club property vehicles
• Summoning and dispatching Taxi or driver services for members

Compensation

The Pay range for this position is $20 - $22/ hour, this is not a tipped postion

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior club or hospitality experience preferred
• Must be 21 years of age and have a safe driving record with an active drivers license
• Ability to operate luxury and exotic vehicles
• Ability to operate manual transmission and motorcycles is preferred
• Previous valet experience preferred
• Ability to be on feet for long periods of time in an outdoor setting
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Selection Process

• Step 1: Applications will be reviewed to identify candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and/or desirables; those candidates will be referred to step 2 in the selection process.
  Step 2: Hiring managers will contact candidate to schedule an interview.
• Step 3: Those candidates who are offered employment will have their information sent for background check.
• Step 4: Upon successful completion of background check, candidates will be notified and begin the onboarding process.
