Job Description

The Store Manager supports the success of Big Brand Tire & Service by owning responsibility for overseeing and directing the operation.  This includes being a Customer Service representative and delivering an excellent in-store experience for all customers, coaching & training, growing the business and overall success of the store.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure store is properly staffed with adequate personnel and adhere to proper clocking procedures to reflect accurate hours worked
  • Implementation and execution of all company programs, policies and procedures
  • Conducts store meetings to review safety issues, store policies and product changes as required 
  • Sets goals for the team to ensure the successful accomplishment of budgeted sales goals, expense control, gross profit percentages and payroll objectives
  • Monitors employees productivity to recommend discipline, wage adjustments, and termination of store personnel
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with customers, employees and management
  • Train new employees and develop skills of the team
  • Perform all aspects of store operations in shop, sales, office and management 
  • Adhere to all local, state and federal regulations concerning all facets of the job responsibility and duties, and store operations

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's license with clean driving record
  • One year of sales in automotive shop preferred
  • Retail and sales experience required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to prioritize activities in a timely manner
  • Must be able to meet ADA requirements including standing for long periods of time and some lifting, up to 70 pounds
