BidFTA.com is looking to hire a hard-working, dependable, and efficient Box Truck Driver to deliver product to and between our local worksite locations on various roads and in varying weather conditions. We’re a fast paced but casual work environment that’s moving into a new growth stage and need people who are excited and passionate about the work they do and the team they are part of.Deliver product to job sites in a safe, courteous, secure, and timely manner.

• Regularly handles materials.
• Deliver product to job sites in a safe, courteous, secure, and timely manner.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle.
• Complete daily trip log.
• Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly vehicle.
• May also be trained to operate a forklift to help load and unload trucks as needed.

Requirements

The work is challenging and requires a person who is careful, attentive, energetic, and fit.

• Must be 23 years of age or older to operate company vehicles.
• Must have 2 years’ experience operating a box truck in order to operate company vehicles.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Clean Driving Record.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle safely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Satisfactorily pass pre-employment drug screens and background checks.
• Ability to read.
• Basic math skills.
• Extended periods of sitting.
• Ability to climb into and out of the back of a box truck.
• Ability to bend, twist, and squat.
• Frequent standing, walking.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and stack boxes of products that weigh up to 50, or occasionally 75 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver pallets of products using powered and manual pallet jacks

Helpful Experience

1. Prior experience operating a box truck preferred but not required.
2. Prior experience in a warehouse environment.
3. Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
4. Mechanical aptitude.

Working Conditions:

Combination of indoor/outdoor conditions. Most of our warehouse operations are not climate controlled. May deal with snow, rain, ice, heat, wind, etc. based on daily weather conditions. Position requires driving and working in such conditions.

Normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday usually 8 am until about 4:30 pm, but hours will vary.

Pay Rate: $15/hour.
