ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The Warehouse Helper is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities: 

• Ensure compliance with policy and procedures (R&M, HSE, Quality, and HR).
• Health Safety and Environment.
• Actively participate in the HSE program.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized workspace.
• Assist with maintenance of inventory and shop supplies, paint and stencil tools.
• Complete related documentation.?
• Accurately report inventory consumption.
• Utilize proper measuring equipment for each function.
• Assist with physical asset / inventory counts.
• Load and unload freight using forklift or overhead crane.
• Organize inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The Warehouse Helper must at a minimum possess the following: 

• High school diploma or equivalent acceptable with 6 months related warehouse experience. 

• Previous industry related experience in a warehouse considered an asset. 

• Forklift Certification – can be provided in house. 

• Mechanical aptitude essential. 

• Ability to read a tape measure, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.

• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings. 

• Ability to lift and carry 60lbs more than once a day.

• Overtime and on call duty required 

• Reliable Transportation. 

• Ability to complete basic mathematic equations.
