BHS Baptist Healthcare System is Hiring a Certified Nurses Aide Near Corbin, KY

Job Description: Certified Nurses Aide-(3-North)-PRN I. Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required High school graduate or equivalent. Current Kentucky Nurse Aid Certification required or successful completion of the first year of an accredited Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education. Certifications based on unit worked: BLS CPI LTA CNA Patient Deterioration Possess basic knowledge of medical terminology II. Skills and Abilities Required Ability to identify the scope of practice issues, prioritization, critical thinking, effective deci sion making, communication, interpersonal relationship skills, delegation and team leading skills consistent with the level of professional growth. Adheres to specific hospital policy and procedures. Position Summary Certified professional caregiver working under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse. Responsible for providing assigned care according to scope of practice. Has adequate knowledge to approach patients of all age groups. All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives. III. Principal Duties and Responsibilities The following is a summary of the major functions of this individual's job. He/she may perform other duties, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below, and specific functions may change from time to time.
