Job Description: Function in a fully accountable role with respect to monitoring the overall quality of BHMG coding and the constant improvement thereof. Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required: Certified Professional Coder-Physician (CPC) Minimum 5:years’ experience Physician Practice coding Experience with: ICD-10-CM coding principles and procedures, HCPCS, CPT and modifier coding, HCC coding and risk adjustment assignment as it relates to provider documentation, Presenting education to coders, providers and/or other caregivers. CMS regulations, guidelines, NCCI edits, payer rules and other professional billing coding regulations, Medical terminology, modifiers, ICD-10 CM, CPT and HCPCS guidelines, and Preferred: 2 years in an education position Certification in one or more of the following from AAPC, AHIMA or other acceptable professional organization.
