Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our Redmond based client is looking or a Hardware Test Engineer 4 for a Remote role.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Design verification activities to design quality into our products.
• Develop and execute test plans and procedures. Perform functional, stress, system, and other types of testing.
• Identify test tool requirements, and participate in specification and design reviews.
• Execute tests with little to no supervision. Find complex bugs, root cause and track them while recording and informing others of all appropriate and relevant info.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have experience working on larger projects, preferably seeing a project from start to finish.
• Must have 5 years of experience with C/C , from hardware standpoint.
• Must have 5 years of experience working with hardware.
• Must have strong experience with Hardware Modeling.
• Must have strong experience with the skills such as Compression, Memory, Computer architecture, Encoding/decoding of video, audio, Text compression, Machine learning, Bit Exact Modeling, System C, High level performance modeling, Cycle accurate modeling & Functional model.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A background in compression codes would be highly beneficial.
• C coding skills very nice to have

• A competitive pay range of $78/hr to $84/hr (depending on experience).
• 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
