FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Fogo Data Centers specializes in delivering advanced cloud technologies and infrastructure to highly regulated industries. Fogo Data Centers is seeking to hire a full-time Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to serve as an integral part of our team. This is a permanent, full-time position.

ABOUT THE JOB: 

The Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant serves as a Front Desk Coordinator and the initial “face” of Fogo Data Centers. As a valued assistant to management, this position enhances the executives’ effectiveness by providing information management support, logistical support, and clerical support by performing the following duties:

PRIMARY RECEPTION DUTIES:

  • Manage the New Orleans facility lobby area
  • Greet and direct all visitors, including vendors, clients, job candidates, and customers
  • Ensure completion of paperwork, sign in, and security procedures
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Provide a positive impression of the company to callers
  • Maintain solid customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with speed and professionalism
  • Resolve, escalate or refer client issues or complaints to the appropriate party for resolution in a timely manner
  • Provide a positive client experience

PRIMARY ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:

  • Fielding telephone calls
  • Coordinating schedules and managing calendars
  • Making travel, meeting, tradeshow, and event arrangements
  • Computer research
  • Preparation of reports, spreadsheets, budgets, and presentations
  • Place orders for services and supplies and communicate with external vendors and service providers
  • Assist other team members with special projects or overflow work as needed
  • Assist Account Management with calling customers
  • Data entry and maintenance of company CRM system
  • Assist with quoting, reviewing agreements, and customer relations

ABOUT YOU:

  • Prior experience in a similar role
  • Certification or training in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, word processing, data entry) and general business environment
  • Previous experience in project coordination
  • Technology or Healthcare industry experience is a plus
  • Strong focus on Customer/Client service
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency and or ability to learn and navigate proficiently, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint), Zoho (CRM and ticketing software), and other company software programs as necessary)
  • Reliable and on time
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Good organization and self-management skills
  • Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients, and vendors

ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE:

Climate-controlled office environment.

Full-time position

Hours: Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm (subject to change) specific hours to be determined, however attendance at events may be required from time to time outside of regular work hours.
