What you’ll do:

  • Owning Strategic Programs - You'll partner closely with Engineering and Product and other key leaders to establish the vision, strategy, technical direction and success metrics for those programs. Focus areas for your programs will include building partnerships with other product engineering teams and executing strategic projects to enable multi-vertical scale.
  • Planning & Execution Optimization - You'll drive optimizations related to planning Product and Engineering objectives and key results, define project plans and processes for team execution/tracking.
  • Technical - You'll develop a full understanding of our technical stack and interdependencies, allowing you to contribute to designs and ensure they are scalable, reliable, and efficient. 
  • Stakeholder Management - You'll manage expectations for all stakeholders from leadership to individual teams, possess strong problem solving and negotiation skills, and earn trust of partners and teams. 
  • Communications - You’ll manage timely and succinct communications on key decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, and metrics to leadership and across teams to ensure accountability and timeline management throughout a program's lifecycle.
  • Process - You'll continuously drive excellence in Technical Program Management fundamentals for yourself and the TPM team, in order to continually build our shared best-practices and overall effectiveness. You are thoughtful about how and when to implement processes with a light touch.

If you have some or all of the following, please apply:

  • 6 years recent experience as a Technical Program Manager or a similar role at a technology company.
  • Experience working with platform engineers and distributed systems. You can speak to system architecture, scalability and reliability decisions, and design trade offs. 
  • Project planning and execution skills that include reviewing technical design documents, estimating, and scheduling.
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across organizations, bridge gaps between teams, successfully influence without authority, and have empathy for business stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of impact when changes occur to scope or timeline.
  • Experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related disciplines desired.
