What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Attendant position at Best Western Plus Kelly Inn & Suites Fargo?
To provide for the efficient and accurate processing and cleaning of all hotel linen and related articles in order to provide a high quality product for our guests and employees.
Essential Functions: ? Shakes and sorts linen prior to washing to ensure maximum cleaning. Sorting involves bending, twisting, crouching, stooping, and standing, reaching and pushing linen from carts.
Processes linen through to washers and dryers, loading and unloading, using proper cycles and following safe, efficient procedures.
? Hand folds all linen, which require hand folding in a timely manner.
Stock linen on pre-established shelves.
Use established procedures to complete these tasks.
This process involves standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods of time.
? Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by the hotel and department management from time to time, is essential to the successful operation and performance of this position.
Physical Requirements:
? Ability to push or pull carts and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
? Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach and push or pull for extended periods of time. ? Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and guests.
Salary : $16 - $17
