Summary

The Houseperson’s responsibility is to assist with driving our guest shuttle, helping with guest requests, and ensuring public areas are kept up to a high level of cleanliness. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas of the hotel. Responsibilities might include: deep cleaning of assigned areas, cleaning, and setting-up meeting room functions, delivering service items to guest rooms upon requests from the front desk, carpet shampooing, power scrubbing tile/laminate in guest rooms as part of a "mini-deep clean".

Requirements

• Driving guest shuttle
• Walk property daily removing debris
• Shampoo carpets in the public areas and guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Help make minor repairs in guest rooms as outlined in daily task list procedures
• Shampoo furniture as needed according to hotel standards.
• Clean Public areas on a regular basis/ as needed throughout the shift
• Complete daily assignment checklist and submit to supervisor at the end of the day.
• Assist room attendants with stripping beds and removing used linen, towels, and garbage when needed.
• Take linen carts to laundry at regularly scheduled times
• Deliver additional supplies or linen to room attendants as needed and as necessary
• Vacuum hallways of guest room floors.
• Ensure all public trash cans are not full, taking full garbage to dumpsters.
• Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license with no DUIs or other major driving infractions within the last 7 years
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening including marijuana
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull upwards of 60 pounds

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
