Assists with management and operation of housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure maximum profitability and to provide our guests with the highest quality of standards. Assist with guest service requests when necessary. Be fully knowledgeable of safety policies and procedures, emergency and evacuation procedures assuring staff and guest safety.

? Assists as directed in preparing accurate and aggressive long- and short-range financial objectives for the Housekeeping and Laundry and related departments consistent with the hotel's objectives.

? Assists Executive Housekeeper in directing the activities of the Housekeeping/Laundry department, and furnishes daily cleaning service to guest rooms and all other areas of the hotel.

? Communicates all maintenance and repair needs to appropriate individuals. Distributes daily workload of room attendant.

? Ensures good safety practices of employees and guests throughout the hotel assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures.

? Maintains new techniques and products to maximize the profitable operation of the Housekeeping and Laundry Department.

? Is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, neatness, and good repair of all hotel areas.

? Performs detailed inspection of all guest rooms (vacant, check-outs. and occupied alike), instructs on necessary corrections.

? Provides guest room status reports to Front Desk, Housekeeper and General Manager.

? Advises front desk by telephone of all vacant and ready rooms as they become available.

? Assists in the training and motivation of the housekeeping staff.

? Schedule, assign rooms and monitor productivity of housekeeping staff.

? Any other duties as assigned.
