What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate position at Bert's Bikes & Fitness?
We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to join our Service Department. You will perform various duties as needed in the Service Department and Warehouse, interacting with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Unload orders from Vendors
- Store orders from Vendors
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Pick and deliver transfer orders to other Bert's locations in Buffalo and Rochester
- Assist with customer deliveries with other Bert's Associates
- Assist in the Service Department when not occupied with Delivery and Warehouse duties
- Assist with property maintenance as Assigned.
- Complete logs and reports
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Skills
- Valid New York State driver’s license
- Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, skid steer, pallet jack and various other warehouse equipment
- Able to lift 100 pounds
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- Work well with others
